The number of women fighting actively in Ukraine against the Russian aggressor increased by over 40 percent compared to 2021, and in October 2023 exceeded 43 thousand. This facilitates the Ukrainian army to supplement staff shortages, but besides helps women to equalize social position with men in Ukraine.
