According to data from the registry of the Ministry of Justice, in September 2023 the Polish company Nordis Polskie Chłodnie, specializing in the production of semi-finished products and ice cream, made personnel changes on the board. The fresh president was Dmytro Ushmaev, 48-year-old founder of the Ukrainian company 3 Bears (Три ведмеді), and the supervisory board of Nordis was joined by Andriy Tyszczenko, manager of the Ukrainian producer.
“We truly bought a Nordis mill in Poland,” Dmytro Ushmaev confirmed in an interview with Ukrainian “Forbes”.
The owner of the company decided not to disclose details about the value of the transaction, stating only that the company from Ukraine plans to invest in the improvement of production in Poland.

According to reports from Ukrainian media, in May 2023 the company 3 Bears took an unsecured debt at Raiffeisen Bank for the amount of 210 million hryvnia, utilizing insurance offered by the Export Credit Agency. The debt was to be utilized for export to Poland, where the company has been present since July 2022.
Ukrainian entrepreneurs take over the ice manufacture in Poland
According to Ushmaev, the production capacity of the Polish plant is presently only half the production volume in Ukraine.
"For us to go abroad is simply a logical step due to the fact that the European marketplace is sufficiently developed and growing," said Ushmaev in a conversation with Forbes.
Ushmaev added that the improvement of the Nordis brand on the Polish marketplace is simply a priority. He expressed the belief that Ukrainian and Polish companies would have the chance to exchange professional experience.
"In addition, Nordis brand products, specified as ice cream and semi-finished products, are not yet available in Ukraine," he noted. On the another hand, it is planned to export Polish products to European countries.

The company located in Zielona Góra specializes in the production of over a 100 different types of ice cream, frozen vegetables and semi-finished products.
According to the data of the Polish registry of Property Rights, the current owner and CEO of Nordis was Sławomir Jankowski.
