Only 39% of respondents consider it possible to surrender any territories in order to accomplish peace as rapidly as possible – according to a survey conducted by the Kiev global Institute of Sociology (KMIS). More than half the Ukrainians are against any concessions.
‘Compared to December 2024.practically no changes occurred in this respect (and all differences fall within the statistical mistake limits). Half of Ukrainians – 50 percent – believes Ukraine should not quit territories under any circumstances, even if the war took longer for this reason (in December 2024 it was 51%)" – according to the results of the KMIS survey.

However, this percent is only 20% among those who believe that Russia is not seeking to occupy more Ukrainian territories," stressed the KMIS report.
The survey was conducted between 14 February and 4 March by a computer assisted telephone interview. The inhabitants of the territories occupied by Russia and Ukrainians located outside the country did not participate in the survey.
