Protests of Polish carriers have continued at the border since 6 November, and Polish entrepreneurs complain about unequal access to the Ukrainian marketplace compared to the anticipation of operating Ukrainian carriers in Poland. Their main request is to abolish the requirements of transport permits for Ukrainian entities, which apply to Polish companies in Ukraine. In addition, Ukrainian carriers are not required to comply with all the regulations imposed by EU standards.

Ukraine expresses clear criticism of the protest at the border, arguing that Ukrainian drivers are suffering from it, waiting in long queues, and that the blockade harms the Ukrainian economy, especially through obstructions in LPG imports. Kiev maintains that the main demands of the Polish side are unrealistic. He besides accuses protestors of blocking humanitarian and military aid, which is powerfully denied by both them and those observing the situation on the ground. In addition, in the public space of Ukraine there are open accusations of the operation of Polish carriers to Russia or their alleged cooperation with Russian services. It is worth noting that akin claims besides appear in Poland, mainly among the Ukrainian community and in the extremist proukrain environments, as well as in any media, where there is simply a run to discredit the protests of carriers. any journalists, like their Ukrainian counterparts, attack protest organizers and Confederate politicians supporting the strike.

We remind you that protests by Polish carriers have been taking place at the border since 6 November. Entrepreneurs from Poland complain about unequal access to the Ukrainian marketplace compared to the activities of carriers from the east in Poland. The issue concerns the elimination of the request to get a licence to carry out transport for Ukrainian companies, in contrast to the obligations imposed on Polish companies in Ukraine. In addition, Ukrainian companies are exempted from certain regulations resulting from EU standards.

According to the Onet website's coverage of the border situation caused by the strike of carriers, Polish drivers are intimidated by the Ukrainian border. 1 driver stated, "As a Pole, I am a lower breed in Ukraine".

On the another hand, the portal “Rz” quoted 1 of the participants in the protest in his documentary on the border situation, which stated that: "Escalating the hatred of Ukrainian drivers towards us is very big. They win us, they show pictures of our wives, our homes, they rise the cry of “the death of Lachom”.
