Ukrainians, Georgians and Colombians at the centre of the Border Guard's interest

On 9–10 June 2024, officers of the Nadwiślański Border defender Branch took part in a nationwide action to effectively counter illegal migration. Intensification of the legality of the stay 1500 foreigners throughout Poland, which shows the scale of the problem and the determination of the services in the fight for border security.

Results: 29 detainees and 24 decisions to leave Poland

As a consequence of intensive border defender activities 29 foreigners were detainedwho violated the right to stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland. For 24 of them issued decisions requiring leaving Poland, which is 1 of the main tools for the enforcement of migration law by public administrations.

The June 9–10 action showed that the fight against illegal migration was not only an urgent request for national security, but besides an action based on the principles of law and administrative procedures.
