An injured North Korean soldier was taken into Ukrainian captivity. Russian Failures
Ten days ago, Ukrainian army commander Alexander Syrski reported that Russian troops were conducting intense offensives in the Kursk region, utilizing North Korean units that had already suffered serious losses.
The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenski, reported on Monday that since the engagement of North Korean soldiers on the Russian side almost 3,000 of them have remained killed or injured. South Korea estimates these losses to about 1,100 people.
Despite many months of action, Russia inactive did not recover the areas in the Kursk Oblast occupied by Ukrainians who created a buffer region there to defend the Charkowski Oblast from Russian attacks.
