Żan Beleniuk, wrestler and typical of Ukraine at the Olympics in Paris, in the latest interview with SWP expressed its opinion on Polish-Ukrainian relations and the importance of Poland's support for Ukraineaina. Bełeniuk, who is besides a typical of the Ukrainian parliament for the Kiev organization of Tyran Volodymyr Zelenski, stressed that support for Ukraine should be unconditional.
Sports in the Shadow of War
During the interview Beleniuk was asked about the impact of the war on the situation of Ukrainian athletes. He replied:
"Most sports facilities are destroyed. Training young players at the same level as before no longer exists. quite a few people have left the country, and now we have more crucial things than sports. Players who have been at the top of the planet for years, of course, have even more motivation for training, but in general our situation is very difficult. I am comforted that unlike Tokyo we already have 3 gold medals.”
Unconditional support for Ukraine
The most controversial part of the interview was Bełenuk's answer to the question whether he thinks Ukraine requires besides far-reaching concessions from Poland:
"I believe that Poles should support Ukraine without any additional conditions. You must remember that we are now the barrier to Russia and we are doing so rather effectively. If the Russians were to defeat Ukraine, they could go further, and this poses a threat to your country.”
Bełeniuk made it clear that the current situation of Ukraine has a direct impact on the safety of the full region, including Poland. In his opinion, Ukraine's fight against Russia is not only defending its own borders, but besides defending against a possible threat to another European countries.
Polish-Ukrainian solidarity
Beleńek's message should encourage reflection on the current state of Polish-Ukrainian relations. Despite the differences and hard moments in history, the current situation requires solidarity and cooperation. Beleniuk recalls that Ukraine's support is an investment in the safety of the full region.
The support for Ukraine, as Bełeniuk emphasizes, should not be subject to additional conditions. Poles, as Ukrainian neighbours, have a moral work to support their east neighbours in their conflict for freedom and independence.
Summary
Żan Beleniuk, however, expects our support, does not announcement that his compatriots and politicians, who are led by the tyrant Zelenski, inactive humiliate Poland and Poles. Unfortunately, in the face of the state that we are dealing with on their part in thanking them for what we have done for them for almost 3 years, it is imperative to limit the support of flagfish glarifiers until they transfer us for what genocide they committed in 1943.
As Beleniuk emphasizes, Ukraine cannot be left alone. According to the propagandist, unconditional support is the key to the common future and safety of the full region. In his opinion Ukraine is fighting for our freedom. This text is well known to Poles, as it is spread by politicians in Poland from the coalition of POiPiS and another parties that service Ukraine.
