Ukrainian poster calling for cultural cleansing is Russian disinformation

On 2 April, a photograph of Ukrainian propaganda poster and flyers calling for cultural cleansing appeared on 1 of Telegram's Procremlovian channels. In fact, photographs were distributed by Russian propagandaists and rapidly gained large popularity among the Polish far right, including the Confederation of Polish Crown Grzegorz Braun. The article describes their first source.

The materials were to include ‘important dates’, including: Adolf Hitler's birth date (20.04.1889), the date of the creation of the Ukrainian Insurgency Army (14.10.1942), the date of arson of the Trade Union home during the riots in Odessa (02.05.2014) and the day of the detonation on the Crimean bridge (08.10.2022).

Photographs for the first time (31 March) he published on his Telegram channel Evgeniy Poddubny, who covered them with a commentary in Russian. The following content is translated into Polish:

Asher Burov-Şǔraev is simply a Lublin-based prokremlian social media activist. He is now likely in Israel, where he is doing his media activity. On his profiles on Facebook is TikToku We will find prokreml and anti-Ukrainian content.

What is peculiarly important, these photographs do not appear in any another context, do not appear in any another reports, and we will not find their sources depicting the alleged Ukrainian poster and leaflets (other than the ones discussed here).

Summary

The origin of photos of the alleged poster and flyers are people closely associated with the Kremlin, known for their propaganda activity and spreading disinformation. The deficiency of another sources and references indicates the forgery of distributed leaflets and posters.
