Volodymyr Zelenski last August presented F-16 aircraft which Ukraine received from allies
Ukraine lost another F-16 aircraft. The president of this country Volodymyr Zelenski said that a 26-year-old pilot was killed during the “execution of combat tasks”.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski reported death on Saturday aircraft pilot F-16, who died that day in combat.
– Today, unfortunately, he died in combat aboard F-16 Captain Paul Ivanov. The boy was 26 years old. I offer my condolences to the household and companions of Paul's weapons," he said.
In their communication, the Air Force of Ukraine stressed that F-16 pilots carry out combat missions in various directions “in incredibly hard conditions, providing fighter cover to air strike groups and hitting enemy targets”.
The Ukrainian side did not give the origin of the incident. It is known that the circumstances of the crash are under peculiar investigation Interministerial Commission.
It is the second Ukrainian pilot and F-16 aircraft that Ukraine lost during the war with Russia. The first specified device crashed in the last days of August last year.
