Minister said that as shortly as he returned from Saudi Arabia, the Ukrainian delegation reported to president Volodymyr Zelensk about the results of the gathering with the American side.
— We have already started to form a squad that will make appropriate mechanisms for action to monitor the possible truce properly," said Sybiha at a joint press conference with Austrian abroad Minister Beate Meinn-Reisinger.
He noted that Ukraine had negative experiences with Minsk agreements, as Russia violated the ceasefire 25 times. Therefore, according to the minister, it is crucial to be prepared for possible provocations from Russia.
At the same time, Sybiha stressed that "the planet is now waiting for a clear confirmation" from Russia to agree to a 30-day truce due to the fact that it is simply a "peace-ready test".
— We now see after the signals coming from the another side that there are again any manipulations and we see that Russia is curious in continuing this aggression, continuing the war. Ukraine said "yes" to the ceasefire and we supported the American side on this issue," the minister stressed.
