Ukrainians are better integrated into our economy than the nation. Who's to blame? [JAGIELLONIAN CLUB]

Poland needs workers, but it cannot build migration policy solely on the needs of employers looking for inexpensive labour. Social cohesion, simplification of tensions and whether people coming to us for years will realize the country where they live, and their children will be able to become part of the Polish community. Otherwise, alternatively of our neighbours, we will have end-of-world workers surviving in barracks and requiring an always stronger surveillance apparatus. Meanwhile, Ukrainians, with whom we are connected geographically and culturally, begin to leave Poland.
