U.S. president Donald Trump's envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, will be in Kiev on Sunday; they will visit Moscow in advance – announced present the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski.
"Today it has been clearly established that in the coming days American representatives will visit Ukraine and Russia. Detailed information was provided by the United States President's team. We discussed Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner's announced visits today: they will go to Moscow and arrive in Kiev on Sunday," wrote Zelenski on online platforms.
The president stated that the Ukrainian side assures that Russian airspace will be safe for the duration of Witkoff and Kushner's stay in Moscow.
"Like erstwhile diplomatic visits of the U.S. side, we will guarantee the average functioning of Russian airspace so that negotiators can safely arrive. We are taking care of them, not Russia," said Zelenski.
