About the fact that the Ukrainian manufacture is working on a towed variant of the Bohdan system, mentioned Brig. Gen. Serhij Baranov, Head of the Chief Board of Rockets, Artillery and Unmanned Systems of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an interview with the writer of the Kyiv Not Kiev [in November of last year](https://defence24.pl/war-on-Ukraine-report-special-defence24/Ukraine-design-new-type-artillery). It was intended to let future replacement of post-Soviet systems, specified as D-20 and 2A65 Msta-B, but yet besides those of the western ones passed by allies of Ukraine, specified as M777 and FH70. [In August of this year we wrote](https://defence24.pl/warna-na-ukrainie-report-special-defence24/ukraina-do-poad-poad-artillerie-tied) that the towed variety of Bohdana will be created by exchanging barrels in russian constructions, specified as cannonohaubice 2A36 Hiacint-B, 2A65 Msta-B and Haubice D-20.
