After respective months of delaying and submitting thousands of amendments, the ultimate Council of Ukraine adopted the Mobilization Act. The paper introduces many changes to the current recruitment procedure for the Ukrainian military.
According to the information provided by the agency Reuters, the consulates of Ukraine suspended services for men aged mobilized. Additionally, the head of the Ukrainian MFA, Dmytro Kuleba, announced fresh government for men under military service who are abroad.
Yesterday, I recommended that action be taken to reconstruct the fair treatment of mobilizational men in Ukraine and abroad. said Dmytro Kuleba. – If these people think that individual out there, far distant on the front, is fighting and giving his life for this state, and individual is going to sit abroad, and at the same time receive your services, that's not how it works..
Not mobilization, but registration
Ukrainians staying abroad from the age of 18 to 60 have 60 days to register, which is until July 16. They must supply their fresh address, workplace, telephone number, email address, etc. Registration can be made via the consulate, online via the electronic office of a military servicer, telephone or email.
Mr Jehor Chernev, vice-president of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, Defence and Intelligence, said that the state is aware that there is no way to force a peculiar individual to return to Ukraine and register. The only thing we can do is realize that these people are already abroad, and we do not request to devote resources and time to their search in Ukraine. We so linked the provision of consular services to the updating of their military records. In another words, in order to receive services at the consulate, the individual must supply passport data and the country of residence. We realize that this will not lead to the return of these citizens to Ukraine. But at least we'll know how many people are out of the country – explained Czerniew.

Estonia will send the Ukrainians back to the front?
In fresh weeks, Estonia has repeatedly expressed interest in concluding an agreement with Kiev on repatriation of mobilised men. In fact, we know where they are and what they do. Most of them work; they live in Estonia said Minister of the Interior of Estonia Lauri Laanemets.
More than 7,000 men from Ukraine of mobilized age have so far submitted applications for temporary protection in Estonia.
