The ultimate Court has decided to impose a punishment of PLN 3000 on the electorate, who has spoken offensive words to the president and another officials. This is the consequence of an election protest that was filed on June 20.

As part of the electoral protest, the electorate utilized offensive words to the President, the First president of the ultimate Court, the president of the State Election Commission, and another officials. The court found that the protesters had insulted these people, and so imposed a punishment of PLN 50,000.

A spokesperson for the ultimate Court Aleksander Stępkowski in a conversation with the Polish Press Agency, in turn, stated that the number of all electoral protests submitted is likely to scope around 50 thousand.

What about the protests?

Two public meetings are scheduled to take place on 27 June, which will be devoted to these protests. As part of these, the ultimate Court asked the territory courts to conduct an examination of election cards, coming from respective designated regional commissions.

The intent of the electoral protest meetings is to examine the merits of the objections raised. In the course of the examination of protests, the ultimate Court will decide on further steps, including possible polling cards.
