A woman's lawyer reported that she flew to the United States from the UAE capital. Washington returned Moscow to Arthur Petrov, a German and Russian citizen.
United States and Russia "Wall Street Journal", citing an authoritative of the U.S. intelligence agency (CIA) and acquainted with the case, carried out a prisoner exchange in Abu Dhabi early on Thursday morning.

Mikhail Mushailow, a Russian lawyer representing Karelina, confirmed to Reuter's agency that she was released as part of a prisoner exchange between Moscow and Washington. As he said, a female flew from Abu Dhabi to the United States on Thursday morning.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio reported on page X that Karelina is on a plane flying to the United States.
