The author besides recalls many Bible characters and events, but this will be discovered by the reader himself. And at any point, the prof. makes a digression that is related to judaic past and the past of Poland (p.91). It is worth quoting due to the fact that it proves how much it alone Jews appreciated the shelter they received in Poland after they had been exiled from many European countries (UK, France, Switzerland, confederate Germany, northern Italy, and above all from Spain and Portugal). due to the fact that judaic mothers told their children that refugees from western countries, going east, saw large forests and powerful trees. They besides heard a quiet “you” and this sound of trees was like the voice of God himself, who told them that they were safe in Poland. The wandering Jews besides saw on the trees the inscription “po-lin” (here-rest), made with the finger of God. And “Polin” became the Hebrew name of Poland over time. Fr.Chrostowski besides assures that cards sent from Israel to Poland, with the inscription Polin’, will inevitably scope the recipients. Recalling this parable centuries ago, he adds that judaic mothers told it to their children until planet War II. Poland has indeed become an asylum for Jews, and since the mediate Ages they enjoyed the privileges which they received from the Duke of Wielkopolska Bolesław Pogodny in the Kaliski Statute ( 1264). King Casimir the large extended it to the full Crown (1334), and confirmed it in the Statute of Łaski (1506), then in the Constitution of 3 May. Unfortunately, later – as Fr.Prof. Chrostowski writes – the German policy of murdering Jews on Polish land not only divided Jews and not even so much with Poles, but with Poland, and this drama continues to this day. Recently, on August 17-18, 2024 a fresh steak of anti-Polish calumnia was published in the "The Weekend Australian" entitled "Hijacking past of the Holocaust" by Jan Grabowski, reportedly a prof. of past at the University of Ottawa (Canada). Apparently, due to the fact that a real-life historian would not compose specified biased lies about Poles and attribute them an active participation in the Holocaust, for which only Germany is responsible. It is amazing that specified false fantasies are besides issued by the Yad Vashem Institute, where Poles have the most trees awarded for saving Jews during the war, although in occupied Poland there was a threat of immediate death with all the aid shown to Jews. Therefore, I do not intend to summarize Mr Grabowski's speeches, entangled in perfidious fairy tales or abandonment. We know that there are high-profile interests behind this, specified as German efforts to “share” with us the blame for the Holocaust. They have been doing this for a long time, and on antipodes, they first tried it in 1967, erstwhile in the Melbourne "The Sun" a man named Douglas Wilkie announced a vicious lie that Germany came to Poland in 1939 to... aid Poles execution Jews! The same article was besides printed by Adelajski "The Advertiser" (but under a different title), and then by a German reader H.Flessner supported this absurd opinion. In turn, the editor of Rapaport from the Melbourne “Jewish Herald” stated that “as far as he knows” the National Army was more eager to... execution Jews than to fight Germany! specified bold nonsense was preached at the beginning of the anti-Polish campaign, present the liars of the Gross or Grabowski kind must cile sofismatics and twisted circumstances. More about the 1967 calumnias can be found in the large book Bogumiła Żongołowicz about “Andrzej Chciuk. The author of the antipodes.” Eventually, Poles from Melbourne published a brochure on Polish aid to Jews during the business – "Saving Jews in War-Torn Poland 1939-1945", which was sent to libraries, editorial offices and universities. And Douglas Wilkie on September 9, 1967 withdrew his lies to Poles and publically apologized for them. Will Jan Grabowski always apologize? While waiting for the revelation of this "history" let us quote a reliable judaic historian, Prof. Dr. H. Graetz: "The eyes of Jews persecuted in another countries were turned to Poland as a shelter. If a Jew, a convert to Christian faith, or even a native Christian, wanted to openly confess Judaism, he could do so as well in Poland as in Turkey" (The past of Jews, Warsaw, Judaica Publishing House, Volume VII, p.156). Unfortunately, on 1 September 1939 Germans entered Poland destroying this "certain shelter" and symbiosis between Poles and Jews, and present they would like to present this tragic period in their own way. It is not Poles who practice "hijacking stories of the Holocaust", but paid renters of certain loobies. All you gotta do is look at Janina Hera's dictionary “Poles Saving Jews” (which did not include all Poles helping Jews) or go to the National Memorial Park in Toruń (created in 2020), and there are 18.457 Polish and Polish women who, despite the threat of death penalty, brought aid to Jews. These tablets are evidence of Polish heroism and Christian mercy. The highest symbol of this Polish blood sacrifice for the rescue of Jews is the tragic destiny of the Ulm family, blessed by Pope Francis, and present removed from the Museum in Gdańsk by a decision of any officials without heart and spirit.
