Events organised by the “Polish Newspapers” Clubs showed how strong and active the community is focused on the thought of patriotism, freedom of speech and civic responsibility.
Throughout the country there were meetings with parliamentarians, journalists, professors and artists who shared a common thought: a conversation about Poland, its present and future. The rich program and many attendance confirmed that the “Polish Newspapers” Clubs play an crucial function in public life, involving local communities and strengthening national identity.
CZERICAL| Klub „Gazeta Polskiej” in Czernikov organized an open gathering with Tomasz Sakiewicz, ed. „Gazeta Polskiej” and “Gazeta Polskiej Everyday”, president of tv Republic, and with Paweł Piekarczyk, bard of the Free Word Zone. The event brought together many people curious in the issues of freedom of speech, media and contemporary socio-political situation. At the beginning of the meeting, the president of the “Gazeta Polska” Club in Wejherów, Violetta Mackiewicz-Sasiak, presented the fresh president of the “Gazeta Polska” Club in Toruń, Maciej Klamrowski. The guests who presented the current situation in our country then took the floor, and in peculiar paid attention to the ongoing election run and the upcoming elections.
