Krzysztof Hetman on Wednesday morning (May 21) was a guest at RMF FM. The MEP and vice-president of the Polish People's organization was asked about the consequence of Simon Holown in the 1st circular of presidential elections, the future of the 3rd Way and Donald Tusk's engagement in the campaign.
– We will gotta sit down and talk after 1 June," said Krzysztof Hetman, asked about the future of the 3rd Way. However, he added, without the alliance of PSL and Poland 2050 "there is no coalition". – With Poland 2050 we complement each another well. Szymon Holovnia has all the talents and advantages to represent the Polish village. But she decided otherwise, but it's the consequence of the polarization we've been witnessing for years.
The conversation discussed the consequence of Simon Holown after the first circular of the presidential election. The Marshal of the Sejm obtained 4.99% of the votes and placed fifth.
– It's inactive 1 of the best results in the presidential election. For PSL they are not the crown discipline," said PSL vice president. He besides added that his group's parliamentary and local elections were getting better results.
"Prime Minister mobilizes PiS electorate"
The lead besides asked about the reconstruction of the government, about which Donald Tusk spoke on tv on Tuesday. It's planned to be conducted after the presidential election. In this assumption, the government will be smaller.
Krzysztof Hetman noted that "renegotiation of the coalition agreement is necessary". He pointed out that there were postulates that were entered and not implemented. – surely the government has a barrier in the form of a president, which shows the wellness contribution, vetoed by Andrzej Duda, with the participation, to my surprise, of the Left," he added.
The subject of Donald Tusk's engagement in the run before the second circular of elections was besides raised. The vice-president of the PSL assessed that the Prime Minister is mobilising the electorate of Law and Justice.
– The Prime Minister is very powerfully mobilizing the PiS electorate. It's been made into a devil for 8 years. It worked, unfortunately. Today, his large commitment to the election run can mobilise voters on the another side," he said.
