Donald Tusk one more time spoke on the breach of Polish airspace. The Prime Minister admitted that "it is crucial that all allies accept the Polish explanation of events from that night".
The head of the government indicated that "the full planet looks at Poland or speaks with 1 voice". In the following part of the statement, referring to fresh events, Tusk called the violation of the Polish airspace a "drone attack".
The Prime Minister besides referred to NATO's launch of the east defender operation. "The initiative concerns the full east flank of NATO. However, we are primarily talking about the border with Russia and Belarus," he pointed out.
– This is simply a direct consequence to our request and consultation with allies. Both NATO leaders stressed that this was a direct consequence to the Russian drones' breach of Polish airspace. This is the most crucial conclusion of today. I mean, not Poland, not Ukraine, not the countries that resisted drones, but the full NATO confirms this fundamental issue. It was the Russian drones that violated Polish space," Tusk emphasized.
Tusk talked about the Alliance.
According to Tusk, the Alliance initiative will straight strengthen Polish security. – The solidarity of our allies is what we have been waiting for. It is very crucial for us – not only for Poland, but for NATO as a full – that our actions give a clear answer to Russia that its provocations will not be tolerated.
