Kierwinski about accelerated elections
Marcin Kierwiński in the programme "Graffiti" stressed that the script of faster elections is real if the president acted against expectations. The Minister noted that this is not a political bluff, as Donald Tusk is simply a politician ready to make unconventional and risky decisions. The last day the president can sign the budget bill is Thursday, which is February 1, 2024.
The head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs stated:
The president has to step out of the shoes of being a PiS spokesman, acting like a man of 1 party. He'll yet stand on the side of the people, and he won't just be a man of the party? It is instrumentally used, possibly with its own consent, to make organization politics.
During the interview, the question of the letter Duda sent to Prime Minister Tusk was besides raised. Correspondence afraid changes made by Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar in the National Prosecutor's Office. In writing, the president pointed out the possible consequences for Poland and citizens resulting from illegal activities.
The President's actions are proof that he's frightened to uncover the truth. He would never be in that position if it wasn't for propaganda in tvp and a twisted election result. The head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs admitted that he was puzzled by the President's engagement in the defence of Zbigniew Ziobra. In his opinion, it seems that the president is defending his friends from the Law and Justice again.
At the same time Kierwiński said he did not realize the thought of starting the Left and KO from a separate letter. According to him, it is best that all coalition parties support 1 candidate. The three-block option should be an perfect option.
Prepared Tusk to act
As Kierzinski mentioned in the program "Graphitti", Donald Tusk is ready for decisive action if president Andrzej Duda decides to block the budget bill. The Prime Minister does not personally regulation out shortening the word of office of the Sejm if the head of state refuses to "pay people money". However, in order to make specified a decision, Tusk would gotta get the support of the Law and Justice Party, and this may be an obstacle.
The situation with the budget bill is presently uncertain, and unofficial reports propose that Andrzej Duda is considering referring the case to the Constitutional Court. The Prime Minister was asked about this issue at the Tuesday press conference and expressed doubts as to whether the president would take specified a step, considering it completely irrational.
The Prime Minister, describing specified a possible script for the president's behavior, continued:
First, it's very harmful for people's interests. I know that this is the President's second and final term, so he may not care about public opinion, but he does not look like a man who wants to "live" to tease those who are waiting for a raise. I have already left out the fact that there is no reason, no reason for him to direct this budget to the Court.
Is there inactive a desire for accelerated elections in the PiS? https://t.co/L7LvKRsJYt

Donald Tusk explained that even if the president had directed the budget to the Constitutional Court, he would not have questioned the fact that this budget existed. This means that he will not deny the fact that it was filed. Mr Tusk stressed that there was no reason to dissolve Parliament by sending the budget to the Court.
The Prime Minister further clarified that in order for the president to be able to shorten the word of office of the Sejm, he would gotta refuse to sign the Act, question its nature, for example, as a budget. However, he considered it a alternatively complicated move.
What will Andrew Duda do?
There has been news in the media that any politicians propose to Andrzej Duda that he directs the budget to the Constitutional Court. The theoretical designation by the Constitutional Tribunal of unconstitutionality could open the anticipation of shortening the word of office of the Sejm and announcing the early parliamentary elections.
One constitutionalist pointed out that he did not agree with specified explanation of the Constitution. Even Duda had already assured that referring the bill to the Constitutional Tribunal did not mean announcing early elections.
The designation of a budget bill to the Constitutional Court will indeed hold the adoption process. The Court would have a two-month deadline to measure the bill. In the event of a uncovering of non-constitutionality, the government would be obliged to act on the basis of a budgetary make-up, i.e. a draft bill presented by the erstwhile government. As a result, planned increases for teachers and budgets would stay suspended.
