"We talked about the road to the EU. The Polish Presidency will break the deadlock that has been seen in fresh months. We will work together with Ukraine and our European partners – unconditionally – to accelerate as much as possible the accession process," said Tusk after talking to Zelenski. He expressed assurance that both countries would solve the problem of commemorating and burying victims of the Volyn crime. He stressed that he did not want "anyone making political terms of it support Ukraine in its confrontation with Russia". He declared the readiness of Polish companies to engage in military production for the needs of Ukraine.
