Wednesday was the first Cabinet Council convened by president Karol Nawrocki. During the assembly, he criticised the actions of the Tusk government respective times. During the press conference, the head of the government referred again to his words.
Mr Tusk spoke after the Cabinet Council had concluded
Wednesday afternoon Donald Tusk has a scheduled flight to Moldova. However, a press conference was held earlier. The Prime Minister noted that he was very pleased with the convention.
– From the very beginning, regardless of all political differences, and they are visible to the bare eye between me and president Nawrocki and his political car, we are looking together with president Nawrocki for these common fields of action," said the head of government.
As he pointed out, they concern security, global policy and strategical interests of Poland
– I expressed this conviction again present that wherever we can build this common space and specified cooperation for Poland, let us treat it as something priceless in Polish politics. We will not bury these differences (between the government and the president - ed.)," he said.
However, he stressed that he was ready for a "hard confrontation about crucial matters for Poland" and that the government must and will "seek common fields" with president Nawrock.
