Tusk criticises Poland 2050 for voting with the opposition

The Sejm amended on Wednesday a bill expanding the limits of state budget expenditure on social construction. Prior to the final vote, Members supported any of the proposals of minorities tabled by Poland 2050, which caused tensions in the ruling coalition. Prime Minister Donald Tusk criticized the behaviour of his coalitionist, calling them "unwise".

Members of this organization together with the PiS and the Confederation voted in favour of the amendments of Poland 2050. another coalition groups, including those liable for preparing the Left, were opposed.

The amendments adopted include the anticipation of organization ownership by Social Housing Initiatives in cities below 100 000 inhabitants. However, dwellings may not be separated into property within 15 years.

Tusk criticizes Poland 2050

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Donald Tusk was asked by journalists in Rome. "If this was another minute of emphasising the distance to its own coalition from Poland 2050, I would say that this is unwise" - said the head of the government.

The government bill was prepared by politicians of Nowa Lewica - Deputy Head of the Ministry of improvement and Technology Tomasz Lewandowski and his predecessor, presently president Włocławka, Krzysztof Kukucki.

The amendment provides for an increase in the maximum limits of the expenditure of the state budget up to which the Fund of Payments may be provided. This appropriation is intended to cover the social and municipal building programme and the social rental building programme.
