Before voting on the vote of assurance for the Tusk government, the Prime Minister went to the parliament's platform. He said no 1 expected long speeches. He added that the government is facing serious work with the reluctant president. "I do not know specified a word as surrender," he stressed.


– There is no earthquake, but the challenges proved more serious than we thought – said the Prime Minister before voting a vote of confidence. He added that he had "convincence, faith, and assurance that he had a mandate to rule." As many as 250 speeches were submitted before the vote.

Tusk: "The challenges are bigger than expected"


– This is not the day erstwhile anyone would wait for long flowery speeches, this is the day erstwhile after the presidential election, clear information is needed, where we stand – that's how Prime Minister Tusk started his speech.

He added that the government has a mandate "to take full work for what is happening in Poland". He stressed that it was the government's executive power.

– There's no earthquake. (...) After the presidential election, the ruling coalition awaits 2.5 years of very hard work in conditions that will not change for the better – he said.

“The challenges are bigger than expected,” he said.

There are no PiS MPs in the Chamber during the Prime Minister's exposition. They had a press conference at the time.
