The presidential elections in Poland will most likely take place in 2 rounds. The first circular is scheduled for Sunday – May 18. If no of the candidates get the required support, the second circular of voting will take place on 1 June. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Donald Tusk's chief of law does not bode for the KO candidate an easy win.


“We are dealing with the gradual descent of Trzaskowski from the pedestal of this candidate, who has been a natural candidate of the democratic opposition as president for years,” said Prime Minister Jan Grabić, Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of the Council of Ministers on Tuesday in the "Step over i" on TVN24.

Grabic believes the fight for the Presidential Palace will be fierce


– Since the erstwhile elections, 10 million votes – the feeling that it perfectly performs the function of the president of Warsaw – that he is 1 of the most prominent Polish politicians and can bring something to the Presidential Palace and revive Polish politics a small bit, and here abruptly we have a clash of respective candidates, each of whom has a ellipse of curious people – said Grabiec.

The presidential elections in Poland in 2025 will most likely take place in 2 rounds. The first was scheduled for Sunday (18 May). If no of the candidates get more than 50% of the vote, the second circular will take place 2 weeks later – 1 June.

According to current forecasts, the decisive clashes have a chance to enter Rafał Trzaskowski (candidate of the Civic Coalition) and Karol Nawrocki (supported by the Law and Justice).
