The success was the flight test of the air-air rocket Gokdogan (tur. Wandering Falcon) by TUBITAK Sage conducted in cooperation with Turkish air forces. The BVRAAM (Beyond Visual scope Air-to-Air Missile) class rocket, i.e. missiles designed to fire targets outside the field of sight, hit the mark with an active radar head. This is the second national kind of air-to-air rocket developed by Turkey.
