Turkey fights for F-16. Strong opposition in the US [COMMENTARY]

Turkey's national defence minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with United States Secretary of defence Antony Blinken on the acquisition of 4+ multipurpose aircraft, F-16 Block 70 and the modernization package is the F-16C/D fleet already owned by Turkey. A possible contract would be of large value for the US economy, but the controversial policy of Turkey's president Recep Erdogan stands in the way.
