Police officers from Biała Podlaska and Międzyrzec Podlaski last week sent 3 requests to the Border defender to oblige foreigners to return. 2 drunk drivers and a man suspected of home force are involved. 2 detainees, 40 and 41, have already left Poland. This is simply a concrete reaction from the state to a safety threat.
Three cases and 3 applications to the Border Guard
Police station in Biała Podlaska informedthat officers from White Podlaska and Międzyrzec Podlaski intervened in 3 separate cases. In each case, they applied to the local border defender station for a decision requiring the foreigner to return to their country of origin. The basis indicated by the police was the protection of safety and public order of the Republic of Poland.
The most serious road case concerns a 40-year-old Belarusian citizen. Police stopped him on Thursday on the A2 motorway in White Podlasie. He was standing on an emergency lane a fewer kilometres before the end of the episode. The survey showed over 3 proms of alcohol, and officers determined that the vehicle was stolen the same day. The man has already left Poland.
Intoxicated driver without clearance
The second proposal concerns a 22-year-old Georgian citizen. According to police, a man led Ford in the village of Strakła and led to a collision with another vehicle. He had over 1.5 alcohols, had no right to drive, and had previously entered a conflict with the law. The Communication does not state that a return decision has been taken against him, so at this phase only a police request can be discussed.
The state is obliged to apply the same measurement to anyone who threatens people on the Polish road. Residence position cannot act as a shield against consequences. Border defender data on persons disclosed during an illegal stay show that efficient return procedures are part of the regular protection of order alternatively than an extraordinary political gesture.
Suspected force against household and child
The 3rd case concerns a 41-year-old Ukrainian citizen detained during home intervention. Police fishy him of physical and intellectual abuse of his household and insignificant daughter. The collected material besides allowed him to present a charge of animal abuse. The man has already left the territory of the Republic. Until final judgment, he remains a suspect, not convicted.
The nationality of each of the men is simply a fact given by the police, but does not prejudge guilt and impose any collectiveity. Liability is individual. That is why the institutions must respond rapidly to a circumstantial act and a circumstantial person, without indulgence and without any blame on those who obey laws.
The safety of Poles requires consequences
Police proposals are not yet a single joint judgement or an automatic decision for all 3 people. all case has its own legal status. However, it is crucial that the services utilized the legal way erstwhile they considered the presence of the persons afraid to be a threat to safety and public order. Similar actions of the Border defender against foreigners violating Polish law they show that a return decision can be made in reality.
For Poles, the stakes are simple: a safe road, a safe home and a certainty that the authorities of the state do not postpone consequence to later. Hospitality hates the limits of the law. Those who seriously violate order and pose a threat must face full consequences, assessed individually and in accordance with procedure.
