The president of UODO decided to take up, of his own motion, a individual data breach - informs Karol Witkowski, the spokesperson of this institution. This is simply a reaction to the disclosure of the name of Mr. Jerzy, which appeared in the photograph published in social profiles of Rafał Trzaskowski.

Tuesday on social media candidate for the Civic Coalition in the presidential election released a photograph of the card he gave to Charles Nawrock during a presidential debate organised by public television.

The president of the Office for individual Data Protection decided to respond to the disclosure of data.

"In case of disclosure of individual data of the citizen (name) by Mr Rafał Trzaskowski president of UODO will take the substance from the office" - Karol Witkowski, the press spokesperson of this institution, told Virtual Poland.

Previously, the UODO published a message addressed to politicians on the violations that happen in connection with the ongoing election campaign. The text was titled: "Electoral run does not exempt from the protection of individual data"

"President of UODO Mirosław Wróblewski calls on politicians - candidates and their election committees to compete for the highest office in the country did not forget the request to take care of individual data protection rules and did not disclose citizens' data" - it was written.

"Being a public person, and especially a politician seeking voters' votes in the run for the office of the president of the Republic of Poland, does not exempt from the request to apply individual data protection rules.
