The State Election Commission announced on Monday the authoritative vote results in the first circular of the presidential election. The Citizen Coalition candidate won the most votes Rafał Trzaskowski (31.36%) and candidate supported by the Law and Justice Karol Nawrocki (29.54). On 1 June, they will face in the second round.
"It is not a secret that I not only supported but supported Karol Nawrocki" - said the president on Monday Andrzej Duda. "I can say boldly: I support Karol Nawrocki still, so in this respect I number on a certain consequence of these elections" - he added.
PSL supported Trzaskovsky
Polish People's organization in the second circular of presidential elections will support candidate KO Rafał Trzaskowski. According to PAP MP Jarosław Rzepa (PSL), on Monday, the ultimate Executive Committee of PSL unanimously adopted specified a resolution.
"We have adopted a resolution in support of Rafał Trzaskowski, and this is absolutely obvious, without any doubts" - said Rzepa. He added that there were no votes of opposition to this resolution.
