Rafał Trzaskowski Vice-President of the Platform Rafał Trzaskowski already in December 2024 at the organization convention in Gliwice, announced that he has always been an economical patriot, advocates for a strong army, wants Polish agriculture to be a power and our currency to be gold for many years. The problem is that for many years, while participating in politics and acting as an MP, a Euro MP, a minister, and yet the president of Warsaw, he publically preached completely different views, and since "networks do not burn", 1 can rapidly see that. Moreover, being president of Warsaw for many years, a large part of the city's budget, allocated to investment expenses, is directed to abroad companies, even though akin products or services are offered by Polish companies.
Ordering for the acquisition of fresh trams landed as far as South Korea, ordering fresh buses in China, for trees on Central Square in Germany, and for gas for buses in a Russian company. Tram trucks ordered in Korea for almost PLN 2 billion proved to be long adequate to rebuild tram stops, yet they won with cars from the Polish producer. The same was actual with buses, and already buying exceptionally costly trees in Germany in a situation where in Poland there is plenty of schools offering akin trees is even ostentatious spending public money abroad, not in the country. The last scandal is the acquisition for nearly PLN 27 billion for the next 2 years of gas to urban buses, in fact from a Russian company, which seems only to remove it from the punishment list for PLN 3 was redeemed by 3 Polish managers from Russian owners.
In fresh days, Trzaskowski visited the Polish dairy marketplace during a tour of Podlaskie Voivodeship and made purchases at the grocery store, stressing that he mainly purchased Polish products. After all, the agreement with the countries of South America is being fought by the president of the EC, Ursula von der Leyen of the EPP, who until late was headed by Donald Tusk, proclaiming from the Sejm grandstand “no 1 in Brussels will win”. The agreement has just been signed by the president of the EC, what is more, at the Council of the European Union has a majority for its approval, Tusk and Trzaskowski know it very well, but they deceive Polish farmers, making promises about ensuring the power of Polish agriculture.
In the election run Trzaskowski besides gives peanas in honor of the Polish gold, he wants Poland to stay with this currency, what is more, he demands publically from the NBP president Prof. Adam Glapiński to strengthen it, although strong gold harms Polish exporters. Only that earlier, he had repeatedly requested that the Polish currency be abandoned as shortly as possible and that the euro area be entered, and in his opinion, it would yet seal the presence of our country in the EU. In these statements, he argued that the adoption of the euro would velocity up the improvement of our country, although there are already hard macroeconomic data, showing, for example, that our neighbour Slovakia, after 15 years of its presence in the euro area, has greatly worsened its improvement capacity and, in terms of GDP per capita measured, the purchasing power of the currency is much lower than Poland, and before its entry into the euro area in 2009, it was precisely the opposite.
So it can be seen that both Trzaskowski, supporting politicians Platforms, as well as serviceable media, will do anything to deceive Poles again, as they did in the autumn parliamentary elections in 2023. They are willing to publically deny their existing views and promise, promise, promise, already knowing in advance that no of these promises will be fulfilled after a possible triumph in the presidential election. Highlighting the economical patriotism of Trzaskovsky at all step erstwhile a large part of investment expenditure Warsaw has been located in abroad companies for years is an incredible scandal in this situation and another effort to deceive voters.
