Next week, the Grand Chamber of the Court of Justice of the EU will examine the European Commission's complaint against Poland and settle an highly crucial issue: whether the Constitution of the Polish Republic takes precedence over the law of the European Union. The Vice-President of the Constitutional Court Bartłomiej Sochanski wrote to the president of the Court of Justice Koen Lenaerts in this case.
