U.S. president Donald Trump called for George Soros and his boy Alex to be held accountable, accusing them of supporting violent protests and doing widespread harm to the United States.

In a message published in his account on fact Social on Wednesday, Trump stated that the American-Hungarian billionaire and his "great, extremist left-wing son" should face justice under the RICO Act (Rackeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act).

"They should be charged with their support for violent protests and many another activities throughout the United States," Trump wrote. “We will not let these lunatics proceed to teardrop down America without giving it a minute of remainder or the anticipation of being free.”

The RICO Act, adopted in 1970, allows for the prosecution of persons and groups active in organised crime, including corruption, fraud or extortion. The RICO mechanics allows the punishment of both natural persons and organisations that commit crimes in an organised way within a long-term structure, treating them as part of their activities. According to Trump, Soros and his boy would allegedly act in a manner akin to criminal structures, financing and supporting activities that, in his opinion, harm the State.

The president besides stressed that the actions of Soros and his networks have caused serious damage:

"Soros and his group of psychopaths have done large harm to our country," Trump noted, adding that his administration is watching closely Soros and his left-wing network of influences.

Trump's comment immediately supported Elon Musk, platform owner X and Tesla's CEO:

“It is advanced time that Soros is brought to account directly.”

Musk repeatedly criticized Soros, accusing him of backing left-wing activity, which, in his opinion, destabilises Western societies. Soros, through its Open Society Foundations, invests billions of dollars in various left-wing initiatives – from promoting immigration and improvement of the US justice strategy to supporting NGOs in Europe. Critics believe that these activities are a form of social engineering and interference in sovereign state policies.

In Europe, 1 of the loudest critics of Soros is Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. At the beginning of this year, Orbán announced the start of the process of removing organisations supported by Soros from Hungary, calling the financier and his American allies Democrats "stads of idiots".

"The presence of Soros in Europe is at odds with the interests of citizens. erstwhile it comes to corruption, that is what it is," Orbán stated in a radio interview in January.

The Prime Minister of Hungary, who approved Trump's return to the White House, besides warned:

‘Brussels itself is influenced by Soros. The European Union must look clearly at the situation and adapt to the reality."

Soros' actions in Europe include the financing of many NGOs, human rights foundations and initiatives to support migration and improvement of justice systems. According to critics, soros' vast social and political resources can be interpreted as an effort to influence state policies and destabilise conventional social structures.

Some experts stress that doubts about the transparency of backing left-wing organisations in the US and Europe are becoming increasingly controversial, and Trump's appeal may rekindle the debate on the limits of political philanthropy in the democratic world.
