Donald Trump was about to yell at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a telephone call on June 28. The U.S. president was upset to hear that there was no hunger in Gaza.
According to the American NBC station, which cites 4 sources, the US President's conversation with the Israeli Prime Minister was highly turbulent. Netanjahu called Trump to convince him that reports of famine in the Gaza Strip are a product of Hamas propaganda. In response, Trump was about to yell at the leader of Israel saying that his individual advisors showed him pictures of starving children.
According to NBC's informant, the leaders' conversation was “direct and alternatively unilateral”.
The day before Netanjah publically denied reports of famine in Gaza. Trump, asked about this by journalists, stated that there is simply a "real hunger that cannot be succeeded".
