"I have not imposed sanctions on Russia due to the fact that I think there is simply a chance to get something done," U.S. president Donald Trump said on Monday. He stressed that he inactive hopes for an end to the war, although – as he pointed out – this is simply a conflict that should stay a substance for Europe, and the United States should not have interfered in it.
