Trump's firm statement. The U.S. will send weapons to Ukraine, but they will not bear the cost

U.S. president Donald Trump announced sending advanced weapons to Ukraine, however, stating clearly that not the United States, but Europe will cover transportation costs. Trump stressed that the US would only be a supplier of equipment and that backing would remainder on the shoulders of European allies. At the same time, the president criticised Vladimir Putin's actions and expressed hope for advancement in the mediate East peace negotiations.
