Transformation of the Armed Forces

Twenty-six years ago, erstwhile our country joined the North Atlantic Alliance, there was no shortage of people asking why we had military pacts, who we wanted to defend ourselves against. The crowning argument was that in post-cold war Europe business was important, not war. Unfortunately, today’s position shows how naive these assumptions and questions were. Although most likely inactive in 2014, after the business of Crimea, there were people who had the illusion that possibly they could work peacefully with Russia. After 2022, no 1 can uncertainty the objectives and intentions of the Russian government and its supporting satraps.

We present to you the latest issue of the “Review of the Armed Forces” in which we decision 2 high-profile blocks for the safety of our country and the functioning of the Polish army. The first, which can be put in 1 word of transformation, is an effort to answer the question of the direction in which the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland must go to meet the challenges ahead. They shared their cognition about the subject with PSZ readers: General Weapons Dr. Krzysztof Król, who is the president of the task force for the improvement of the concept of the creation and functioning of the Armed Forces Transformation Command; Colonel Dr. Andrzej Lis, manager of the Centre for Doctrines and Training of Armed Forces (on the basis of the Centre will be formed the Armed Forces Transformation Command); as well as the staff of CDisZ: Colonel Grzegorz Kstrewski, Colonel Artur Niedźwiecki, Colonel Robert Reczkowski, Colonel Jacek Duziak, Colonel Tadeusz Doligalski and St. Chor. staff. Andrzej Woltmann.

The second thematic block developed in our quarterly concerns training soldiers and candidates for soldiers. However, it did not contain articles analysing selected training problems. We decided to make our military breaks available to universities: Naval Academy, Academy of War Art, Academy of Land Forces, Aviation Academy of Military and Military method Academy, which presented their offer of education, technological achievements and history.

In addition to these thematic blocks in this issue of the "Review of the Armed Forces" you will find another part of the legal cycle of Major Mariusz Domżalski, the work submitted for the competition for the listeners of the Academy of War in the academic year 2023/2024, as well as the news presented at the last installment of the largest arms fair in the planet – the Paris Eurosators.
