Europe has been replacing real border policy with moralism for besides long. Border residents, officers and migrants themselves are affected. work requires control, clear rules and the imminent return of persons who do not have the right to reside. Without this, further groups will take lethal risks.
Warning for Poland
Ceuta lies far from Poland, but the force mechanics is besides well known on our east border. The mass movement of people can in a short time burden the service and become a tool of force on the state. There are different directions, organizers and local circumstances, but the work of the authorities remains the same: to defend the territory and life.
For Poland, the stakes are specific. It is about the safety of residents, the efficiency of the service and the right of the nation to decide who enters its territory. Helping a drowning man is simply a command for humanity. A tight border is an order for state responsibility. The clause shows the tragic consequences of a situation where the reaction comes only after the control has broken.
