The ranking of the 100 most crucial drone companies was created with only companies that are not under state control. Manufacturers not only of unmanned aircraft-using systems, but besides of water and ground platforms, were considered. Furthermore, the ranking did not take into account companies associated with ‘the regimes subject to sanctions’, including in peculiar Russia. There are no Chinese, Russian or Iranian entities there. For this reason, the ranking is actually a ranking of companies in the Western planet and of friendly countries specified as the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Australia and Japan.
