In 1993, the waters of the Baltic Sea swallowed the ferry "Jan Heveliusz". It was the biggest disaster of the Polish civilian fleet. To this day, its causes have not been explained. In 2002 – 9 years after the tragedy – as a young reporter, I took part in a diving expedition to the wreck.
