The crowds of Warsawers accepted an invitation to the “Horn and Bieszcia” organized by the SEW on the occasion of this year's Museum Night.

Visitors to the Old BUW Hall, from 19.00 to 01.00, were waiting for quite a few attractions under the common slogan “Earths and Leisures in east Culture”.

The intellectual qualities of the Nights were taken care of by the lecturers of the survey – among others, Dr. Jarosław Książek, who spoke about culinary experiences, from the position of long-term work in diplomatic institutions. Dr David Kolbai, at the sounds of the medieval Georgian anthem Shen Khar Venakhi ‘Shen Xar venaxi’ explained the importance and seriousness of Georgian Supras. Dr. Shahla Kazimov spoke about the deep symbolism hidden in the sweet or bitter Azerbaijani tea, which gave guests her own brewed drink and conventional baklava.

An extraordinary attraction was besides the entry of the manager Jan Malicki, via the Main Gate of the University of Warsaw – horseback, in the Cossack outfit of the Colonel of the Zaporosian Army of the 17th century. The passage, which began at the Memorial of Prince Joseph Poniatowski, was a prologue of the lecture devoted to I'll have a good toast.

For our artistic setting Neighbours took care of the talented squad Poznie – which consists of students, graduates and employees of various units of the University of Warsaw. Members of the band presented conventional folk songs from Pozmnia area, encouraging to sing together.

The palate of our guests was taken care of by Gagik Grigoryan, known to the public as the author of the culinary blog Cook with Georgian. Gagin not only betrayed the secrets of Georgian cuisine, but besides offered local delicacies specified as chachapuri and badridjani.

A long line of volunteers set up for a sitoprint booth, on which volunteers of the STUS Foundation friend prepared commemorative prints on cotton bags themselves.
