The RTV licence fee will not vanish from 2026. The draft media law that is to destruct the fee will only go to consultations, and in the meantime the Ministry of Finance must include money in the budget to keep public media. Therefore, the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) is preparing a regulation with fresh rates.
