The Lublin Police reported on Thursday on platform X that local law enforcement officials explain the circumstances of the incident.

"Officers have determined the data of the man who downloaded the Ukrainian flag from the City Hall building. Recordings on this incidental are besides analysed in detail. The collected materials will be transferred to the prosecutor's office" - we read in a message published on social media.

A minute later, the deputy chief of the Ministry of abroad Affairs, liable for the supervision of the formation, Czesław Mroczek, spoke. In his entry he clarified that Braun and his fans may have disrupted public order.

"Being a candidate in the presidential election and the immunity of the Euro MP are not a licence for impunity. The police will counter public policy violations and draw legal consequences on perpetrators of specified actions" - the policy entry states.

The employees of the local town hall besides expressed outrage.

"Grzegor Braun and his followers raided the White Podlaska City Office and broke the Ukrainian flag from the balcony utilizing a ladder. Screaming to burn it. A chaotic crowd of hate-fed people and public incitement to hatred is simply a shame! Such men should never come to power.!" - wrote in a message the head of the cabinet of the president of Biała Podlaska and councillor of the Lublin Seymik Wojciech Sosnowski.
