Professional soldiers have received wage increases which depend on the degree. Higher salaries were paid in March of that year along with compensation from 1 January 2025. The main nonsubjective of these changes is to introduce greater pay differences for people of different military degrees, who occupy different positions.

The basic wage in the Polish Army increased from PLN 6 1000 to PLN 6.3 thousand. Originally, however, the Ministry of Defence planned importantly higher increases of between 5 and 7 percent, but this was not accepted. It was proposed that the basic wage should increase by PLN 400 for Private soldiers, by 500 for Petty Officers and by PLN 1,100 for General. The basis for the soldiers' salaries of the Territorial Defence Army (WOT) since 2024 is simply a permanent standby supplement. As of January 1, 2025, the rules for granting an allowance for long-term military service were besides simplified. The allowance will be calculated after 2 years of military service of 2% of the basic wage due and then increased annually by 1%. The maximum can be 35 percent. It is besides worth reminding that anyone who:
has Polish citizenship,
is 18 years old,
has at least basic education,
he is not convicted of intentional crime,
has a good reputation,
has a physical and intellectual capacity for military service.
According to Gazeta Wrocławska, already during voluntary basic military service a soldier receives a wage of over PLN 6 1000 gross.
