From 17 March the trams run again through 3rd Maja Street in Gdańsk. Almost 2 weeks after the collapse, the tram traffic returns to normal. Lines 2, 4, 8, 9 and 11 were restored before March 5. Why is the street collapsed? On 4 March at the junction of 3rd Maja and Rogaczewski Street an unexpected pit appeared. It turned out that underneath the tracks there are relics of old cellars after non-existent buildings. 1 of the underground rooms collapsed, causing the ground to fall and a dangerous gap to be created.
