Women in the Polish army are increasing. Now besides mandatory

Today, women account for almost 9% of the staff of the full Polish Armed Forces and almost 20% of the composition of the Territorial Defence Army. But in 1988, erstwhile their recruitment began, most frequently among medical students, no 1 expected it. The ladies had to wait 11 years to open military schools for them and until 2003 to gain access to all positions. 20 years later, not only are there more and more of them, but they were included in compulsory military service.
