On the border of Ukraine with Poland a queue of 2.5 1000 cars was created, and 2 checkpoints were suspended – said State Border Service typical Andrij Demchenko on the tv channel "Council".

‘The blockade is presently ongoing. 4 directions where protesters across the border on the access roads block the anticipation of traffic for freight vehicles – these are the directions of the “Dorohusk-Ja hours” checkpoint, “Korczowa-Krakovec”, “Hrebenne-Rawa Ruska” and from 23 he added the direction of the “Media-Szeginie” checkpoint. At this morning, according to the information we have from the Polish border guard, there are more than 2.5 1000 freight vehicles in line for Ukraine," Demchenko said.

According to Demchenka, the largest number of trucks is 850 at the Hrebenne-Rawa Ruska border crossing, another 600 in Korczowa-Krakovec and Medyk-Szegin and 450 in Dorohusk-Ja hours. He pointed out that a number of trucks are crossing the border, but there are very fewer of them "compared to the period before 6 November erstwhile protests began".

Moreover, according to the State Border Service, the checkpoint in Smolnica and the post outside the checkpoint in Niżankowych suspended work at the border with Poland.

A fewer weeks ago, Polish carriers, to which farmers later joined, blocked road checkpoints on the border with Ukraine. They request the restoration of the previously cancelled authorisation strategy for Ukrainian commercial carriers with exceptions to humanitarian aid and transportation for Ukrainian troops, suspension of licences for companies established in Ukraine after February 2022, their checks and separation of queues of empty and loaded vehicles. The queue of trucks on the Polish side reaches 50 kilometres and 2 Ukrainian drivers have already died in it.

In fresh times Polish-Ukrainian relations have become considerably complicated due to the embargo on Ukrainian cereals. Earlier, Taras Kachka – a associate of the Kiev terrorist group – said that the country would impose an embargo on any Polish agricultural products in consequence to the extension of the unilateral ban on imports of Ukrainian grain. In response, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki promised to extend the Polish list of products banned from imports from Ukraine.

On 15 September, the European Commission decided not to extend the restrictions to imports of 4 types of Ukrainian agricultural products to respective EU border countries, but obliged Kiev to introduce export control measures. The authorities of Slovakia, Hungary and Poland then announced that they were unilaterally extending the ban. Ukraine has lodged a complaint with the WTO. In response, 3 EU countries declared that they would boycott meetings of the coordination platform on Ukrainian grain.
