A 31-year-old citizen of the Sumician Oblast in Ukraine decided to escape mobilization. The man crossed the Bug River and reached Poland. According to information from Ukrainian side, Polish borderers sent him back. In fresh days, dozens of escape cases have been recorded before mobilization. A peculiarly dramatic situation takes place on the river Cisa.
The Western Regional Branch of the State Border Service of Ukraine – the Western Border Service – reported this event. According to the communication, 2 Ukrainian citizens planned to cross the border, passing through the western Bug. The incidental took place on the weekend, but the information was not published until Wednesday.
One of the refugees was detected by Ukrainian borderers.
"An unknown individual at the sight of border guards began to flee and then sailed to the neighboring shore. The Border defender has informed its colleagues on the another side of the state border, where the staff of the Polish Border defender have detained a man," Ukrainian border guards inform.
It turned out that the exile was a 31-year-old resident of the Sumsko region. In the absence of legal travel abroad during martial law, the man decided to enter illegally. However, his stay in Poland was short-lived as he was handed over to the Volynian Border defender Branch officers as part of the readmission procedure. For him, an administrative protocol was drawn up and he was given a call to appear before the military committee.
Ukrainian officials besides mentioned a akin case concerning a 26-year-old citizen of the Donetsk Oblast who tried to get to Poland the same way the day before.
On the Romanian-Ukrainian border, on the river Cisa, dramatic scenes took place. On Tuesday, 3 men were fished out of the water and tried to flee to Romania. They were all between 20 and 28 years old. 3 bodies were besides fished on Monday, 4 were found on the Ukrainian side, and 2 were found on the Romanian side. 1 of the victims was only 20 years old, as Ukrainian writer Vitali Głagola wrote.
Escapers besides effort to get to Poland from the Lviv region. On Tuesday, 7 people were detained by Ukrainian borderers.
On 7 May, on the another hand, 7 people were detained and a smuggler who assisted them in an effort to enter Romania. Each of these men paid about €7,000 to aid escape.

In April, the American paper "The fresh York Times", citing information from Romanian authorities, described that since the start of a full-size Russian invasion, more than 6,000 Ukrainians fleeing war and mobilization have crossed the river. At least 22 people lost their lives.
Lieutenant Władysław Tonkoshtan – who spoke to “NYT” stopped a man on the shore, where he was preparing to cross the river in “Hope to reconnect with his wife and children he has not seen in 2 years”. His household lives in Europe. – We can't justice these people said the lieutenant. “But if everyone leaves, who will defend Ukraine?” he asked.
