Thomas Rose, whom Donald Trump appointed as the fresh United States Ambassador to Poland, instructed the head of Polish diplomacy Radosław Sikorski. It was about Israel's politics.

Radosław Sikorski has late appeared on the "International Report" program in Oneta and spoke about the situation in the mediate East. He stressed the hard situation in Gaza, where 80 children had already died of starvation.

– Those starving kids in Gaza don't know what Hamas is. No 1 has the right to origin children to die of starvation [...] Israel abused force and the number of victims in the Gaza Strip is besides high," he said. "No 1 will precede me in condemning Hamas for this criminal and harmful Palestinian action," he added, but at the same time stated that "Israel, even as it operates in self-defense, is not exempt from global law."

Sikorski was responded by US Ambassador Thomas Rose. "As you well know, past does not know the precedent in which a terrorist group wages war in order to openly annihilate a sovereign state, settles among the civilian population, and then relies on this country to supply food, water and fuel," the American minister addressed.

"But that's what Israel did – frequently under duress, frequently at the price of large sacrifices and vulnerability to the danger of its own soldiers and almost always without reciprocity," continued Rose.

He later defended Israel’s actions. "He's not acting like a tyrant of history. He acts in accordance with global law, even erstwhile his enemies disregard all his commandments," he noted.

"Israel has given his mortal enemy more humanitarian aid than any another country in the past of wars—and it does so under large force and with large hazard to its own body and blood—not due to the fact that it must, but due to the fact that it is simply a judaic state that adheres to basic moral standards," Rose said.

Finally, he compared this to the actions of Ukraine and Poland. "Should Ukraine send convoys with humanitarian aid, being under fire to feed Russian civilians on occupied Donbas or Crimea? Would Poland do that? These would be absurd demands – for Poland, for Ukraine, for all country fighting in defence, and yet Israel faces them daily" - he said.
